Ambo – chair

The ambo is in the midst of the assembly, as the presider’s chair sits opposite. Its panels illustrate the story of the myrrh bearing women coming to the tomb (not visible), the angel proclaims the good news and commands the women (left) to go and tell the disciples (right).
